2nd Chance Lottery Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Proof of residency and age may be required. Employees and directors of 2nd Chance Lottery, Contest Factory and their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, and advertising or promotional agencies or individuals involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes and the immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year, whether related or not. In order to enter the Sweepstakes or receive the prize, you must fully comply with the Official Rules and, by entering, you represent and warrant that you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects relating to this Sweepstakes.

Sweepstakes begins April 1, 2024 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends April 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the "Sweepstakes Entry Period"). Administrator is the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is governed by these Official Rules and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
During the Sweepstakes Entry Period go to www.2ndchancelottery.com ("Website") and register by providing your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password, Gender, State, Zip Code and Year of Birth. Registering is free and every registrant receives one (1) ticket upload credit. Notwithstanding the prior sentence, in some instances the Sponsor may offer more than one (1) ticket upload credit if a user registers with a specific promo code. The Sponsor may offer more than one (1) ticket upload credit if a user watches a video. Then submit an image of your losing lottery ticket that is dated within 7 days of lottery ticket's drawing date. Examples of eligible lottery tickets are, but not limited to, Mega Millions, Powerball, SuperLotto, etc. Scratcher Lottery tickets are not eligible. You will receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes for each unique lottery ticket you submit and upload. In between uploads you may be required to watch a video.
If offered by the Sponsor, you can pay a monthly fee, become a subscriber and be able to upload more than one ticket at a time and receive corresponding number of entries ("Bulk Upload Subscription"). If offered by the Sponsor, you can pay a monthly fee and be able to upload tickets without being required to watch a video ("No Video Ad Subscription"). If offered by the Sponsor, you can pay a monthly fee for both Bulk Upload and No Video Ad Subscriptions.
If you do not have a lottery ticket, you can still enter by first still registering on the Website and then mailing in a postcard. On a postcard, legibly handwrite your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Gender, State, Zip Code and Year of Birth and mail with proper postage to: 2nd Chance Lottery Sweepstakes c/o Contest Factory, 13681 Newport Ave., Ste 8-119, Tustin, CA 92780. All write-in entries must be postmarked within the Sweepstakes Entry Period and received within five (5) calendar days of the end of the Sweepstakes Entry Period. For each eligible postcard you will receive one (1) entry. You can mail in one envelope containing multiple postcards, up to the maximum a subscribed user can upload at once on the Site. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Write-in entries must contain all entry fields outlined above; otherwise, they are void and will not be eligible to win.
You can receive bonus entries in the Sweepstakes drawing by sharing the Sweepstakes website on Facebook and/or Twitter and/or via email to your friends (limit one bonus entry per social media site and/or email per day). Bonus entries are only valid when user has uploaded at least one ticket. The Website will state the daily or weekly entry limit, if applicable.
Every 10 lottery tickets you upload entitle you to 1 spin ("Spin") in an Instant Win Game ("IWG"). To play the IWG, once you have accumulated at least one (1) Spin, click on the top Navigation SpinZone® tab and then click on the PLAY button.
Entrants may only use one email address to enter the Sweepstakes. You are not permitted to share the same email address with another entrant. Use of any automated system to enter is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder to be awarded the prize.
Weekly Drawings
On or about 4/8/24, Sponsor will select one (1) entry for the weekly prize described below in a random drawing of all valid entries received between 4/1/24 and 4/7/24.
On or about 4/15/24, Sponsor will select one (1) entry for the weekly prize described below in a random drawing of all valid entries received between 4/8/24 and 4/14/24.
On or about 4/22/24, Sponsor will select one (1) entry for the weekly prize described below in a random drawing of all valid entries received between 4/15/24 and 4/21/24.
On or about 5/8/24, Sponsor will select one (1) entry for the weekly prize described below in a random drawing of all valid entries received between 4/22/24 and 4/30/24.
Non-winning entries from one weekly drawing period do not carry over into subsequent weekly drawing periods. Odds of winning a weekly prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the prior weekly drawing period.
Monthly Drawing
On or about 5/8/24 Sponsor will select one (1) entry for the monthly prize described below in a random drawing of all valid entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Odds of winning the monthly prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period.
The selected entrants will be contacted using the email address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules). Sponsor's decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of the potential winner is final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by email on or about the day of the drawing. Failure to respond to the initial verification e-mail within five (5) business days of notification or return of e-mail notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. Limit one (1) prize per person every six (6) months.
SpinZone® Instant Win Game (IWG)
A registrant is deemed a potential IWG winner if the IWG screen displays three (3) matching images in the middle row of the spin wheel (each, a "Win") and a winning message detailing the prize won. All potential winning messages may be subject to validation by Sponsor. There will be a total of three thousand four hundred and twenty (3,420) random, computer-generated winning times during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. If you are the first player to receive a win at or after one of the randomly generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize indicated. No more than the total number of instant win prizes listed in section 8 will be awarded. Limit three (3) IWG prizes per person per month.
No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, seeding, printing, digital or programming failures, or other reasons or any errors cause more than the indicated number of prizes to be available and/or claimed in the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the number of grand prizes allocated to the Sweepstakes Entry Period as per these Official Rules. Sponsor's liability for a defective or irregular game play/entry is replacement with another randomly selected game play/entry if timely and otherwise feasible and in accordance with these Official Rules.
Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In order to claim their prize, the potential winners will be required to return to Sponsor, within five (5) business days of the date notice is sent, a) a signed and notarized affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release and b) a recent photo to be posted on the Sweepstakes website. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release and a recent photo within the required time period or if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of a Sweepstakes prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor, at Sponsor's sole discretion, may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner.
Four (4) weekly prizes will be awarded during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Each weekly prize winner will receive one thousand dollars ($1,000).
One (1) monthly grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize winner will play the MegaSweeps® Game online and in the presence of Sponsor and Sponsor's agents and/or affiliates. The MegaSweeps® Game is an instant win game where the odds of winning are 1 in 250. If the grand prize winner is an instant winner of the MegaSweeps® Game he/she will win fifty thousand dollars ($50,000). If the grand prize winner is not an instant winner of the MegaSweeps® Game he/she will win a consolation prize of one thousand dollars ($1,000). Sponsor's decisions with respect to the MegaSweeps® Game are final and binding.
For the SpinZone® IWG, 3,420 winners will each receive one of the prizes listed below. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined in Sponsor's sole discretion.

For all Prizes: Prizes are non-returnable, non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. ARV of all prizes available is up to $54,200.
By entering, each participant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, Administrator which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes; (b) release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant's entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to an Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or Entrant's acceptance, use or misuse of prize.
Except where prohibited or restricted by law, winner's acceptance of prize constitutes the winner's agreement and consent for Sponsor and any of its designees to use and/or publish winner's full name, city and state of residence, photographs or other likenesses, pictures, portraits, video, voice, testimonials, biographical information (in whole or in part), and/or statements made by winner regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor, worldwide and in perpetuity for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade and/or promotion on behalf of Sponsor, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, print, TV, radio, electronic, cable, or World Wide Web, without further limitation, restriction, compensation, notice, review, or approval.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an Entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants, Sponsor or the Released Parties in connection with the Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws. The parties each agree to finally settle all disputes only through arbitration; provided, however, the Sponsor shall be entitled to seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state and federal courts in Orange County, California and any other court with jurisdiction over the parties. In arbitration, there is no judge or jury and review is limited. The arbitrator's decision and award is final and binding, with limited exceptions, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The parties agree that, except as set forth above, any claim, suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Promotion shall be resolved solely by binding arbitration before a sole arbitrator under the streamlined Arbitration Rules Procedures of JAMS Inc. ("JAMS") or any successor to JAMS. In the event JAMS is unwilling or unable to set a hearing date within fourteen (14) days of the filing of a "Demand for Arbitration", then either party can elect to have the arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") or any other mutually agreeable arbitration administration service. If an in-person hearing is required, then it will take place in Orange County, California. The federal or state law that applies to these Official Rules will also apply during the arbitration. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis and will not be consolidated with any other proceedings that involve any claims or controversy of another party, including any class actions; provided, however, if for any reason any court or arbitrator holds that this restriction is unconscionable or unenforceable, then the agreement to arbitrate doesn't apply and the dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Orange County, California. Either party may, notwithstanding this provision, bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

Requests for the winner list must be received within 60 days of the end of the Sweepstakes Entry Period.
